Our Top 3 Healthy Stocking-Stuffer Picks

Posted .

It’s Christmas shopping season. We have been busy making our Christmas lists and trying to figure out healthy things to stuff our children’s stockings with. Here’s what we’ve come up with:

Toothbrushes and Floss

This sounds almost too simple to be true, but I always got a new toothbrush in my stocking at Christmas. I looked forward to that new toothbrush. It’s amazing how those little things become big traditions!

I never got a gold toothbrush, but if you want to go the gilded route, that’s up to you.  Any new toothbrush will do.

Floss or even toothpaste is also a good healthy stocking stuffer idea…maybe try a new flossing tool or a new flavor of toothpaste. (This is sort of like sneaking veggies into your children’s dinner.)

Think of it this way: you are giving them the gift of a healthy smile!

Smile-Smart Candy and Gum

Gum and candy sweetened with Xylitol or Stevia actually prevent tooth decay. (Trident is sweetened with Xylitol.) Both Xylitol and Stevia are plant derived, and they are safe for diabetics. That is a pretty sweet deal!

Sweet Deals

We have another sweet deal for you as well! If you schedule your treatment by Dec. 31, 2014, and mention this blog post, you will receive $50 off your visit (excludes cleanings and checkups). We want your smile to be the best it can be before the new year starts, and there is still time to come in for a visit!
