Here in Bedford, school starts on August 24, 2015. I’m not sure if you are counting down the days or dreading the beginning of school. Either way, there is a lot to do before the new school year arrives.
As you are busy making lists and checking things off, I can think of two things you definitely need to do that might get lost in the shuffle.
We recommend replacing toothbrushes at least three times per year or whenever you’ve been sick. (This helps prevent the spread of germs.) The beginning of the school year is a perfect time to stock up.
We also recommend that your children be fitted for new mouthguards at the beginning of each new school year. A properly fitting mouthguard prevents injury, and their jaws are growing all the time. Pick a new one up as you are buying notebooks and number two pencils.
I always laugh when I see this commercial. It just never gets old. Enjoy!
Remember to Schedule Your Appointment!
One more thing—before your children are back to the rigid schedules of school, homework, sports practice, and everything else, make sure you schedule their dental cleanings! Give us a call, and we’d be happy to arrange your family’s appointments at a time that works best for everyone.
