Happy Mother’s Day!
It would be remiss of me, perhaps not as a dentist, but as a woman, daughter, and mother, to not take a moment to honor the mothers in my life and my community of Bedford, Texas.
Don’t forget to take care of YOU
I know from experience that being a mom is a whirlwind adventure. Sometimes it becomes second nature to put everyone ahead of yourself. Sometimes that feels like the best or only way to keep everything running smoothly in your life.
In this sometimes stormy life, I want to give a word of encouragement. It’s OK to take care of yourself, too! In fact, it’s the best thing that you can do for your family. The happier and healthier you are, the happier and healthier your family will be!
I make it easy for moms.
I try to make a visit to my Bedford dental office an easy thing for busy moms. I know how hard it can be to keep up with everything in our daily lives. So I definitely don’t want your dental health to fall by the wayside!
We offer appointments in the early morning before school, during your lunch hour, and even one evening every week so you will always be able to find a time that works with your full schedule.
We see a lot of mothers come in with their kids. We know it’s easiest to have an appointment for each of them, one right after the other. We accommodate our families whenever we are able to.
You can even enjoy some much needed down time reading our magazines and having a cup of coffee while we clean your children’s teeth!
When it comes to your turn, we have an Apple TV in the waiting room at your disposal. Just let us know what your child’s favorite show is and we’ll put it on and keep them happily entertained while you take care of this very important part of your own health.
Our entire staff consists of mothers. We honor you and the hard work that you do. We are right there with you!
Let us take the complications out of your dental health by making it easy to see your dentist!
~Dr. Marea White
P.S. Here is some great motherly advice from the mothers here at our office:
Dr. White: Ask your child to name 3 things that happen at school every day.
Laurie: Tell your child every day/night, “I love you with all my heart!”
Fran: Have your child read to you at least 3 times a week.
Janet: Tell your kids to be honest and upfront. Otherwise, if they are found out later, they will be worse off. “Truth will set you free.”
Veronica: Tell your child to sleep with the angels.
